On February 17, 2010 the boys of TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki are scheduled to release a TVXQ Best Album in Japan which will contain their best hits. There will be 4 different type of albums. A) 2 CDs + DVD, B) 1 CD + DVD, C) 1 CD, and a Big East Limited Special Edition.

A longer “special preview” has been released for the upcoming action-thriller Sworn Brothers (which is the Korean title, 의형제), also called The Secret Reunion, which comes from director Jang Hoon, who also directed the So Ji-sub–Kang Ji-hwan action film Rough Cut (aka A Movie Is a Movie).

The film stars Song Kang-ho and Kang Dong-won as two enemies (the former’s a South Korean secret agent, the latter a North Korean one) who “risk their lives on one last choice.”

Six years ago, Song’s character had vowed to capture Kang and saw the agent as he slipped away from a violent scene that unfolded in a busy city street. Following his failure to apprehend the spy, Song is dismissed from his post. Kang, meanwhile, is betrayed and abandoned by his own country. Now, six years later, Song has set up his own investigative agency, and happens upon a face-to-face encounter with Kang. Both recognize each other, but pretend not to. (In one line in the previews, Song asks Kang, “Would you be interested in working with me?”)

Sworn Brothers / Secret Reunion will release on February 4, 2010.

It was reported in Chinese media on 24th December that Rain was appointed the publicity ambassador for China SanDong province, also the hometown of Confucius and a province with long history and culture.
According to the report, Rain was chosen for his healthy image and also his fame in both Asia and also in Hollywood. In the report, it was said that Rain “has readily accepted the proposal from SanDong province. SanDong look forward to become one of the representative tourism spot in Asia.

But many Chinese netizens have commented, “This is not any place but Confucius’ hometown and they got a Korean to be the ambassador?”, “Even though I’m a fan of Rain, I don’t want him to be the ambassador of SanDong”, “There are many Chinese celebrities from SanDong, why choose a foreigner?” etc.
And as for the objections from the Chinese netizens, SanDong province has kept cautious with their words about their stand to it.

Japan loves releasing singles~ So here it is, the 3rd installment to my album coming out in March. I’m feelin this album the most out of all three. The music is finally more in tuned to my personal preference. Everything in life is trial and error, I’ve done things that I may have felt wasn’t me, told myself I wouldn’t do that anymore, but through chasing after what you want in life there are some road blocks that keep you in the direction you wanted to go…I made a left when I wanted to go right…but no matter what I kept You God in front of me…and You always steered me back to where I needed to be. In early December we reported that SHINee's Minho along with his Let's Go Dream Team cast mates would be heading to Canada. They arrived in Canada had a blast and a few weeks ago returned to Korea.

On a recent episode of Let's Go Dream Team, while flying to Canada, they decided to let Minho become a steward on an Korean Air flight. Watch Minho dress up in a steward uniform and serve meals to the passengers, also watch him give his patented winking.
